LIHEAP Energy Assistance Programs

The LIHEAP assistance program is a federally funded program that helps lower income families and households meet their immediate home energy needs.

The program gives priority to those families with the highest home energy needs; which typically are lower income households with high energy bills and/or the presence of a vulnerable individual in the household, such as a family member that is disabled, a young child or a senior.
