Budget Billing Program
The amount of TID electric bills can vary widely throughout the year and not knowing what to expect from month to month can challenge any household budget.
To reduce uncertainty, TID offers a program called Budget Billing. The program simply divides the annual electric bill of participating customers into equal monthly payments with recalculations made each year in March and September.
The program is intended to help you budget more effectively since you will know exactly how much your bill will be each month. Monthly bills will continue to show actual energy consumption and current charges, but you will only pay your prearranged Budget Billing amount.
